This school of Yoga is founded by BKS Iyengar, with an emphasis on details, precision, alignment, sequencing and timing in the performance of yoga postures (asana). Iyengar Yoga often makes use of props which enable students, especially those with physical limitations to perform various asanas while minimizing the risk of injury.
Hatha Yoga is the origin of most modern styles of Yoga today. Hatha Yoga practice generally includes postures (asana), cleansing techniques (shatkarma), breathing (pranayama), gestures (mudra), energy locks (bandha) and meditation.
Flow & Movement
Flow & Movement is a type of Yoga practice that flows from one posture (asana) to another, with a focus on improving strength, flexibility, endurance and focus. A steady and stable breathing is also an important element in Flow & Movement.
This is essentially a type of stretching technique based on Yoga postures and movements while using a staff or a stick for leverage, support and balance. A stick is used as a support for creating quality warm up, general and deeper stretching.
Yin Yoga targets our deep connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. It is slower in pace and can be quite meditative, which allows our mind to turn inwards. Typically, each pose will be held for a longer period of time (i.e. 3 to 5 minutes) than other yoga practices.

"Easy Stretch" is designed for Yoga beginners and those who may be experiencing physical limitations. These classes will work on connective issues, ligaments and joints to improve overall flexibility and mobility.
This is a beginners class based on the Iyengar Yoga system, focusing on precision and alignment of general Yoga postures (asanas). It is suitable for absolute beginners, experienced beginners, senior citizens, and those with physical limitations.
Awareness Yoga is a gentle way of practicing Yoga to develop greater awareness and sensibility of our body, and learn how to work with our joints, muscles, connective issues and bones, so that we can feel great physically and mentally. It is a great supplement to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
