I have no Yoga experience, which class is suitable for me?
Foundation Classes are suitable for absolute beginners.
Many of our Group Classes are suitable for all levels including beginners. The Teacher(s) may give different practice alternatives or modifications for students with different levels of experience. To find out more, please read the descriptions of different class types in the Classes page.
What should I wear to the class?
If you have Yoga attire, just wear that to the class. If you do not have any Yoga specific attire, you can wear any sports wear, or at least a T-shirt and a pair of comfortable pants. For Iyengar Yoga based classes, it is recommended that you wear a Yoga/Sports top and a pair of shorts. No shoes will be worn inside the Studio and in the classrooms.
What should I bring to the class?
For health & hygiene reasons, please bring your own mat with you. However, mats are available for rent at RM2 per use. You should also bring along clothes that you will be wearing during the class. If you perspire quite a bit, we suggest that you bring a towel with you. Filtered water will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own tumbler.
Can I eat before the class?
We recommend that you avoid eating for at least two hours before attending a class. If you are hungry before the class, a light snack of fruits, nuts and/or light meal would be fine.
